My hunch is that you’re getting to bed very late and have to get up very early to get to school. That seems to be what happens to most teens these days. You’re probably up late because you have activities after school and a lot of homework that needs to get done. You may need to connect with your friends on social media, or you’re wrapped up in books or video games. Whatever the reason, it’s likely that you’re often feeling very tired.

Many people think that eating something when they’re tired will give them more energy. This is called energy-seeking hunger. The truth is, food doesn’t actually give you this kind of energy. In fact, eating when you’re tired and not hungry can make you drowsy.
